Pessimist in the House!

its the pessimist's point of view right now, haha

i dont mean to demean anyone in this post, so just take whatever i say with a pinch of salt alrite. =)
for our class, , its actually 24 As and 1 C, to be precise
dont ask me why, go figure.

Lets see. 43% of the nation got an A.
which translates to about 4 out of 10 who acquire an A.
well then, how unique is the A that we had earned.
it isnt about the hard work that we had put in,
neither is it about the fantastic ideas that we had generated.
its all about the calibre of an A and the fact that whether it is justifiable.

to me, its not, at all.
it unfair and lenient, a bit too slack even.
its not that im unhappy with so many people getting As
(maybe i am, but that's hardly the point)
im happy for most of them, but some really do not deserve it.
the value of an A is understated, and i dun feel just for most of us.
all the hard work has no doubt paid off, but it wasnt a fair tradeoff.
the margin by which we went beyond is a little excessive.
and now its no longer prestigious to get an A.

well, its just another A.

giving out of prezzies and all, damn nice lah. =)

other than:
feeling damn paiseh cause i din prepare for v'dae,
skipping chem lecture cause of tending dance booth under lt1,
weird white and black combi of our class,
econs test which i din study for and slept in,
gp essay which i didnt finish and did the weird question,
2.4km run where i was so tired and ran so slow.

everything else was great.
